In the past it was mandatory that men had to wear formal attire after 18:00 however over the last few decades cruise companies have become some what more lenient on what men should wear.
Most cruise companies such as Holland America,P&O,Carnival etc expect men to wear a tuxedo for their formal nights (which can be as many as 3 a week) so we’ve written a guide on what you should wear on a cruise.
A) When cruising to tropical climes we would recommend a cream or white tuxedo jacket.
