Morning suits (or morning tails) are worn at formal events such as weddings, races etc during the day time. In the evening the dinner suit (or tuxedo) takes over.
Traditionally morning wear consists of a black tailcoat, black/grey striped trousers (braces optional), grey waist coat, white formal shirt, cravat/necktie and smart black Oxford shoes (the use of a silk handkerchief will finish of the ensemble).
