Choosing a suit online
There are a few considerations you should make before buying a suit online. Check out the following points to ensure you pick the perfect suit for you.
1) Style – are you after a 3 piece, tuxedo, double breasted, machine washable, tailored or linen suit ? There’s a lot of choice so try and not get too overwhelmed.
*
2 ) Fitting – are you after a regular fit, perfect for everyday wear such as the work place or smart occasions. A slim fit suit has slimmer shoulders and a nipped-in waist to create narrower proportions. Tailored suits have narrower shoulders and waist giving a very modern look. Make sure you correctly measure your chest and arm length for a good fit.
*
3) Fabric – wool is a very popular and comfortable material (but can get warm) whilst mixed synthetic materials are used for more affordable and easy to look after suits. Linen however is perfect for more tropical climates (or even a balmy English summer).
*
4) Returns policy – a suit is not a cheap item of clothing to buy and as you can’t try on the suit before you buy it’s important you check out the vendors exchange and returns policy. Most retailers offer a 30 day money back guaratnee but it’s worth checking before you buy.
